Job Description

The Director – Global Quality is a leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director.
The position entails overall responsibility for the quality strategy and the implementation of a zero-defect culture. Key duties include:

Developing and executing a 5-year quality roadmap.
• Maintaining the Quality Management System, including tracking and reporting of quality KPIs and improvement actions.
• Driving a robust quality culture to ensure world-class quality across Engineering, Supplier, Manufacturing, and Construction sectors, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering profitable growth.
• Providing guidance and driving initiatives for processes and systems globally across all business areas.
• Ensuring quality system standards certification or compliance requirements are maintained successfully.
Furthermore, the Director of Quality is accountable for project operations and program support, which includes:
• Standardization, quality management, quality audits, and third-party inspections.
• Document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement, and project management tools.
• Planning and executing activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.
• Exercising some degree of autonomy but primarily focused on executing tasks, often with guidance.

Requirements

• Must be a self-starter with no supervision to achieve the assigned tasks.
• 15+ years of engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing, test and/or reliability and commissioning.
• Experience in Oil & Gas industry is must.
• Understanding the manufacturing and testing of mechanical systems is necessary
• Minimum 5+ years Quality management system audit experience.
• Must be capable of writing detailed and professional Quality Audit Reports.
• English writing and Reading Skills
• General management/supervision capabilities to coordinate activities of technical personnel.
• High level of knowledge in upstream oil/gas project Quality Assurance and Quality Control methods and systems.
• High level of knowledge of industry fabrication standards for oil/gas operating facilities.
• Previous international experience/knowledge preferred.
• Ability to relate with various levels of project management.

Desired Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and / or At least 5 years’ industry work experience in lieu of degree.
• Current Lead Auditor certification for in any combination of QMS (9001), EMS (14001), and / or OHSAS (45001) required.
• IRCA or RAB Registration will be desired.
• Able to walk and stand for up to 4 hours at a time and maneuver throughout multiple levels of client sites either by stairs or elevator.
• Strong influencing skills and ability to use these skills to effect actions within the organization
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening.
